Professional company director Mr Rod Keller has been appointed non-executive Chairman of OSD Pipelines. Rod brings over 36 years’ experience in the engineering sector and strong public company leadership skills to the Board as OSD Pipelines prepares for its next growth phase. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of Norfolk Group Limited (ASX: NFK) and until recently was a non-executive director of Dyno Nobel Limited (ASX DNX) and Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group Limited (ASX: MCG). Rod chaired GasNet Australia Group from its listing in 2001 until its takeover in 2006 and previously held management positions with Fletcher Construction Australia, the State Government of South Australia, Esso Australia, Woodside Petroleum and Santos. He was also Managing Director of GPU International Australia from 1995 to 1999, during which time the company acquired GPU GasNet and GPU PowerNet as part of the State Government of Victoria’s energy utility privatisation process. Rod has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Australia. OSD Pipelines founder and Managing Director Mr Brian O’Sullivan welcomed Rod’s appointment as Chairman of the Board. “Rod brings to the OSD Board an impressive history in the engineering sector, as well as significant public company experience, which are both key skills for the future strategic growth of OSD,” Mr O’Sullivan said. “He has worked with a number of multi-national engineering companies around the world, and has the experience and business acumen to further develop OSD Pipelines.” Rod joins other OSD Pipelines Board members David Wright, Brian O’Sullivan, Peter Hollingsworth and Peter Dighton. |
