In line with recent corporate restructuring initiatives, OSD Pipelines has promoted Michael Peoples to General Manager - Victoria, Australia. The move follows the recent promotion of Martin Axelby to General Manager - Queensland, Australia. This internal restructuring aims to streamline OSD’s business activities in order to have a more geographically focused business structure and to provide greater service to its clients. Mr Peoples joined OSD in 2009 as the Operations Manager - Asset Services. He has been instrumental in the development of OSD’s asset services in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia and has also played a key role in coordinating OSD’s New Zealand asset services. Michael is an experienced pipeline engineer with specialist skills in asset management and operations, pipeline design, compressor station and facilities engineering, risk assessment and project management. Michael is highly knowledgeable in Australian Standard 2885 and other related Standards, and he delivers engineering and operations courses for OSD’s training division, PIPEd.
