Annual regulatory audit of the Century Zinc Pipeline

OSD were commissioned to complete an independent compliance audit of the Century Zinc Slurry pipeline and associated facilities.  The audit was necessary to ensure conditions of the operation license were being met and also to provide the Department of Transport with all necessary information so that revaluation of the license could be carried assessed.
OSD also provided assistance to the Department to ensure any sensitivities or areas of concern with the pipeline had been fully addressed.

Ballera to Moomba QSN Link

OSD was part of an integrated project team undertaking the EPC works for the Epic Energy on the QSN Link Pipeline from Ballera to Moomba.  The project scope included construction of a 183km 16” pipeline and associated metering, filtration and flow control facilities.  The pipeline allows coal seam gas from Queensland to flow to markets in New South Wales and South Australia with a maximum capacity of 270TJ/day.

Bell Bay Meter Station Upgrade

Brief Description

OSD Pipelines has worked on numerous different stages of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline including stages 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, and 5D.

DDPS Pipeline

Brief Description:

OSD was engaged by Origin Energy to project manage the planning, approvals, design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of a pipeline to deliver natural gas from Coal Seam gas fields in South East Queensland to a 630 MW Darling Downs gas fired power station.  This pipeline will have an approximate length of 205 kilometers and be located between Darling Downs Power Station and the Wallumbilla gas hub.

Brief Description:

OSD was engaged to complete a preliminary front-end engineering design study for a 6.5 kilometre ocean outfall pipeline from a proposed ferro-nickel project in New Caledonia.  Advice was provided on construction methods, pipeline materials, design hydraulic analysis, risk assessment, and preliminary route selection sufficient for detailed pipeline design.  The out-fall front end engineering design followed from preliminary engineering design and cost estimation for water pipelines to supply the project.

As part of the largest natural resource project ever undertaken in Vanuatu, OSD is providing specialist engineering services for the makeup and installation procedures of submarine PE pipelines, the pipe towing and sinking studies of the line.

Hanson Pipeline

Brief Description

OSD Pipelines completed the detailed design for the replacement of a section of distribution pipeline at Hanson Cement's Facility in Permanente, California.

Kirkuk

Brief Description:

OSD completed the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the Kirkuk Pipeline (KKPL) Project in Iraq. OSD were awarded the contract by Addax Petroleum International Limited (APIL) in September 2008, and have since managed to complete the project in a short five month period.

Maitland Pipeline

Brief Desription

OSD Pipelines was engaged to provide independent validation of the MDR for the gas pipeline to EDL's LNG Plant at Maitland Near Dampier. OSD was also in charge of conducting operations establishment and regulatory approval assistance for the Maitland Gas Lateral including Operational Safety Case, Operational Environmental Management Plan and operating manuals and procedures.

PROME Treatment Plant

Brief Description:

OSD Pipelines, in association with alliance partner Golder Associates, completed the electrical and instrument specifications for the PROME Treatment Plant in Indonesia.

Queensland Gas Pipeline (QGP) Looping  

Brief Description:

Initially starting out as a conceptual design / capex estimates project, the scope of works for the QGP Looping soon expanded to encompass the full FEED for the pipeline. OSD were charged with preparing a route survey, SMS, all calculations, data sheets and specifications to allow D&C contract to be awarded for construction, plus the awarding of LL items.
